BATTERSEA POWER STATION: LIFT 109 MEDIA ROOM experiential

Worked with the bright sparks at Squint/Opera on the visuals for the Media Room at the Lift 109 visitor experience. A part of their multimedia exhibition that takes the public through the design and history of Battersea Power Station, before being taken up through the chimney in the glass elevator.

The visitors within the Media Room are taken on an abstracted journey through the power station, travelling from the inside out, in a visual distillation of everything the audience has engaged with prior to entering the Media Room.

Storyboards

Starting at the microscopic, endothermic reactions at the centre of the station, the actions of each interconnected chapter powers the next, sending us ever outwards – until we reveal the macro view of Battersea Power Station as an element within the London skyline.
